The Romance of Being Alive is all about the art of taking yourself out — choosing yourself as the person worth getting dressed up for, making plans for, spending money on, staying up late with, and creating beautiful memories with.

Because a good life shouldn't have to wait for the right person to arrive.

Your ideal date can look however you want it to. Get dressed up and take yourself somewhere beautiful. Go see live music, wander somewhere new, or treat yourself to something delicious. Or stay home, light some candles, take a bath, read a book, cook something lovely, and make an ordinary evening feel special.

There is no right way to take yourself on a date. The point is to give yourself the pleasure, attention, beauty, and little luxuries you might otherwise wait for someone else to give you.. and ultimately make an occasion of your own life.

Important Things to Note:

** TVP mail goes out during the last week of every month. The longest wait is the first envelope as sign ups take place 1 month in advance, but from the 2nd round of mail on, you'll be in the swing of things! 

Secondly, please note that the subscription schedule is as follows:

All memberships renew on the 5th of each month. Depending on when you join, your first two payments may occur close together—for example, signing up on April 3rd would result in another charge on April 5th. To avoid this, I would recommend joining on or after the 5th of the month.

On the bright side, this means you’ll already be set up for two months of mail, with no additional charges until the following 5th of the month. Having all memberships renew on the same day allows me to better plan and order supplies for each month’s mail —especially as we continue to grow (thank you so much for making that possible!).
