The heart behind The Velvet Petal..

I started TVP because I was craving more slow and meaningful moments in my life. I wanted to spend more time creating & immersing in the present moment through tangible things like crafting, journaling, & exploring art mediums (instead of spending my days clocked into a job and wishing I was elsewhere and rest of the time recovering to do it all again.

..and I realized that I probably wasn't the only one craving that.

So, I created The Velvet Petal -- a cozy space where we can all slow down, create, & reconnect with ourselves.. because we deserve more of that in our days (and I was right! Fast forward, over 150 members are receiving Velvet Petal Mail each month <3).

Snail mail has revived something that I was really craving. It keeps me inspired, present, and consistent with creating. Sharing that feeling with others across the globe makes it even more special.
